FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY

The process of producing activewearย from concept to reality can be broken down into the following steps:

  • Conceptdevelopment: The first step is to develop a concept for the activewear. This includes deciding on the style, fabric, fit, and features of the activewear.
  • Design: Once the concept is finalized, the activewearis designed. This involves creating technical drawings and specifications for the activewear.
  • Prototyping: Once the design is complete, a prototype of the activewearis created. This allows the designers to test the fit and functionality of the activewearย and make any necessary adjustments.
  • Patternmaking: Once the prototype is approved, patterns are created for the activewear. These patterns are used to cut the fabric for the activewear.
  • Cutting: The fabric is cut according to the patterns. This is typically done using a laser cutter or water jet cutter.
  • Sewing: The cut fabric is sewn together to create the activewear. This is done using specialized sewing machines.
  • Finishing: The finished activewearis inspected and trimmed of any excess threads. It may also be washed and pressed to remove any wrinkles.
  • Packaging: The finished activewearis packaged and labeled. It is then ready to be shipped to retailers.
